Karenthian Orc

Karenthian orcs are a sub species of orcs common throughout the known world. They live in small tribal or village size groups and tend to be nomadic. Others have settled in ruins and learned to hunt and gather and some basic agriculture.   Karenthina orcs have skin of varying colors including, gray, red, green and peach, as well as combinations and shade variances among them. They are the same height range as humans, but have a more muscular build than most humans. In addition, the have larger than normal canine teeth, but are not large tusks like some other subspecies.   In addition, the orcs still have passed down knowledge of the Nethen, and due to their ancient interactions, tend to be a bit more docile and less hostile towards other bipedal races unless provoked. Currently, no orcs have contact in any fashion with the Nethen, and mostly consider the Nethen as friendly ancestoral associates.   Karenthian orcs are however quite capable of combat and defending themselves. They hunt in large groups of 10-60 and have a large selection of weapons available including swords, axes, clubs, bows of various types, slings, spears, pole axes, quarterstaves, and daggers. While hunting they tend to have axes and crossbows, longbows, and knives.   These orcs exist in large numbers within the Karenth Centralis, Continent of but rarely start direct conflict with human populations unless pressured, and even trade with some groups.   Karenthian orcs also have a capable set of magics of their own including unique potions, and periodically have old Nethen artifacts, some of which they know how to use. Shamans and sorcerors make up most of the magic wielders within the populace, but there are a handful of wizards also who know and to read and write various languages.   Alchemy is very prevelant among the orcs, with potions often in the possession of members of the village, especially healing and curing potions for disease and poison.
