Glormiddin

Glormiddin exists along the cliffs in western Karenth Centralis, Continent of as a shining waterfall and font of raw mana. When viewed, it looks like the scintilating mana is flowing downward, and continuous gaze at the the fall makes it appear as if it's going up. In reality, the raw magic waterfall is doing both, moving mana up and down, changing colors throughout while doing so. The existance of the magicfall was known by the Nethen long ago, but they were unable to harness it due to its raw and constantly changing structure and magic types.   Glormiddin is hidden and lost among the forests and mountains of the western part of the continent, but once its hundred meter tall by twenty meter wide existance is found, the beauty and awe is unmistakable.   Built eons ago by one of the old gods as a font with which to replenish while building Karenth, the old god forgot to remove it when she was done, or she was killed during the Dragon and Diety War. This is lost to history and time, as no mortal probably ever knew the answer.   Touching the font of magic is like cool water that flows over the entire body, even if you just touch it with a finger. Wielders of all types of magic will be granted improved quality spells for a brief time after touching the font.   Placing ones hole body in the font for more than ten minutes will lead to instant disintegration at the ten minute mark due to the extreme levels of magic, both positive and negative. Many an explorer have lost their lives to the fall, and many more will in the future.
