Nethen magic items

The Nethen people have made huge numbers of magical items over the last million years, from potions to massive vehicles, from conduits to transfer magic to small spyglasses that will help read any language. The Nethen use multiple methods of creating magic items based on what the desired outcome is.   Many times, Nethen will use traditional magic item creation for making something that already exists, or the pattern or recipe is known. This works for magic weapons and common magic items.   More recently, relatively speaking, the Nethen have moved to the use of Nethen magic, a purified and more reliable method for producing magic on a consistant and easier to manufature process. Nethen magic is processed and stored in Karenthian Batteries to be used as needed. These items can last for tens of thousands of years, and can charge standard magical items to full charges within a few hours. But the batteries can also be used to channel magic directly into magic items and using Nethen spells of creation, imbue items with Nethen specific capabilities.   The Nethen have also learned to harness different types of magic for item creation, so transmutation or transmogriphying magic, green magic, can be used on items that change shape, grow, shrink, or cause other items to do any of these things.   Healing magic, red magic, can be harnessed for quickly making healing potions, staffs which heal, and many other useful items such as magical bandages or healing blankets.   The Nethen have created a conduit system throughout their modern cities to power luxeries and defense technologies. Every home has powered cooking and light. Weapons firing magical bursts are around the walls, and communitations systems allowing long distance conversations reside throughout the cities. Most importantly, the modern teleportation systems, which the Nethen rely on, are powered by the modern conduits.
