Glowball

Glowballs are magical globes created by the Nethen allowing for varying levels of light from a floating sphere. The sphere could be moved and illuminated to various degrees from dim to almost pure sunlight. The color of the light could be changed to any color of the visible spectrum. The glowballs are about the size of a humans fist, and do vary in size.   Fist sized and portable, the glowballs require periodic recharging from Karenthian Batteries. Few such batteries still function and while many glowballs have been found over the years, no one of the Displaced have yet figured out how to recharge them. Much of this has to do with the fact that they must be recharged with one of the smaller batteries, of which none found still function. The battery in Ironholm is to large, and the glowballs shatter when recharging is attempted.   Powers: Can float in one place, even in heavy wind. They are voice controlled, in Nethen. Can go from dim, like a candle up to exceedingly bright filling a large room with light. Color of light projected can be any color of the visible spectrum.   A fully charged ball can go for 3-6 months on a single charge, even with constant use.
