Tivinari Twister Storm

The Tivinari twister storm is a massive ongoing storm on in the Tivinari Wastelands. Throughout the wastelands, massive tornadoes, arcing with purple and orange magic lightning, cross the lands, shiftings sands, and destroying anything not resiliant enough to stop their powers. Seeing the landscape, it is uncommon to not see at least two or three of these storms within a few miles. They usually dispurse after an hour or two, but others will spring up just as quickly.   Characters caught within these storms can easily be killed by the magic, or being thrown from the storms. Rumors have it that there are a handful of individuals who have learned to travel with the storms using potent magics.   During the First Turning of the Nethen, the Nethens were learning how to integrate with the magics around them. However, their knowledge, greed and desire to dig ever deeper into the magics of the world around them led to chaotic releases of energy which eventually destroyed much of the lands they called home. At the same time the twisters were released as part of the release of magical energies.   The lands are so infested with the tornadoes that no plant or native animal life still inhabit the region, all of it being swept away. Their are still buildings in the area which are protected by the storms, having been built into the rocks, canyons, mesas, or designed of large stone blocks.   Predicting the magics of the twisters is impossible as there are no magic or natural symptoms that a twister is about to arise other than the constant dark clouds which flood the lands. Avoiding the area as a whole is the best way to prevent being hurt by the storms. In addition to throwing people, they will throw anything which has been picked up into random directions up to speeds of over 500 km per hour.
