Grona

The grona are a large wild herbivore that prefers to live in large herds among the plains of the world. Their numbers are vast, and they can be found in the open areas of much of the known world.   The creature is fairly docile, but can defend itself with long curved horns. They live in herds, and with use their large numbers to trample predators.   The stand almost six feet tall at the shoulder and are broad. They have a dark brown fur that is about two to three inches long. They can get up to 2000 pounds with the females coming in at 1200 to 1500 pounds.   The people of Karenth have found these creatures to be quite tasty, and there are even attempts to domesticate the animal both for food, and as a laboror.
