Dwarf

Dwarves are a species of humanoid found throughout many worlds. They came to Karenth from Els'tar originally, specifically, they returned more recently to the known world. The main types of dwarves are mountain, hill, and deep dwarves.   Mountain dwarves live in the mountains and hills when possible. Their numbers are still small, but increasing. A few prolific mines have been setup in rich veins throughout the known world. These primarily include, iron, gems, precious metals, and coal.   Hill dwarves live on the surface, usually in the hills or mountains. They seldom venture into the deep, but are willing to go into settlements of other races if the need arises. Many hill dwarves have found jobs in human and elven towns as blacksmiths, coopers, silver smiths, artisans, laborers, and adventurers.   Deep dwarves are truely rare and number only a few hundred. They have made their way into the deep caves under the central continent and have begun to interact with the other deep races native to Karenth, and with the wildlife that teams in the depths of the earth.   Current game books describe dwarves in detail as they pertain to your game.
