Glee is taking his grain to be threshed and stored. Glato and some of the Harpies have come along with him. Glee starts speaking to the threshers and working out the details when a Harpy starts heading into the storehouse. The Head Thresher says to her “Hey! Get out of there!” and starts moving towards her.
Glato is quick to stop him saying “Hold it! I know that behavior. She is hunting.” The Harpy moves slowly and carefully towards the sacks of grain. She then lunges at them and starts trying to get in between them. Glato holds The Thresher back as her claws tear into the bags. But soon she pulls back and quickly slams a rodent to the ground and kills it. She then walks up to them kill in her mouth. Glee points to his symbol and the Harpy flys off.
The Head Thresher says “I’ll be. We have a hard enough time keeping the barn free of rodents.” Glee and Glato share a look and Glato turns to other Harpies and motions them into the barn.
Glee says “They’ll take care of that problem in no time” as a Harpy calls to the flock.
Soon half the flock is in the barn finding kills, though they are messy in their hunts. But the Threshers are more than happy to not have rodents in the barn.
The Head Thresher says to Glee after the last Harpy has left “Wow, they are good. How can I repay you?”
Glee says with a smile “Well now that you mention it…” The Head Thresher feels like he just opened himself to be taken advantage of.
