As the city disappeared into the distance, so too did the unnatural temperature of The Cold Peaks. The Dwarves eventually reached a crossroads, but were stopped from passing by a hooded figure. Brynjolf said "If ye don't explain who you are, I'll cut ye down where ye stand!" the hooded figure stayed quiet. Thror screamed "CHARGE!", and the three Dwarves charged, Axes and Hammers in their hands. The hooded figure pulled out a blade and held off the Dwarves for about 20 minutes, until eventually Ragnar crushed his head with a Warhammer. They made way east, to the Ruins of Khind-Daruk to collect Mithril.

The road to Khind-Daruk was long, and the Dwarves were tiring. after 7 days and 7 nights headed East, they finally saw Khind-Daruk in the distance. "There's the Ancestral home" Brynjolf said. "Yeah, to think we will soon walk the same halls Dwali did" responded Ragnar. The next night, they reached Khind-Daruk, and found Orcs at the Gates.
